We’ve almost blown through all 400 numbered editions this first week, if you’re still looking to cop a pair you can scoop them up … Read More

Knockaround x PRDTetc™ — Collaborative Release at 5&A Dime

Despite the tragic (“or just horseshit”) losing streak that took the Pads into the All-Star Break (together with any “very hopeful” hopes of post-season play), we’re still putting it down for the Bring Back The Brown campaign, along with our city, and we’re really excited about this one. Saturday, July 30th at 5&A Dime from 1:30pm-4:30pm. Music, drinks, and a Knockaround x PRDTetc™ product release. More details to follow…

Bring Back the Brown 3 — This Saturday

It’s no secret the Padres are literally having a hell of a time this season. We’ve been in last place since I can remember, we’re constantly within grasp of wins only to lose a majority of our games by one or two runs, and our loss to the Red Sox today with a rare pitching meltdown in the 7th was just awful. Yet, we will hold fast and continue throwing events in support of this city until we’re dead or … Read More

Double Break & High Fidelity

This weekend was kicked off on the right foot with the grand opening of the Double Break gallery/art shop. Artists Matt Coors & Louis Schmidt are the captains steering this venture which is currently unlike anything here in San Diego. For those familiar with Giant Robot (LA, SF), Park Life (SF), Subtext (SD), Family (LA), or the Junc Gallery (LA), Double Break is serving up a similar format. However, based on their first exhibit my guess is their programming will … Read More

PRDTetc™ Pop-up #2, #3, #4, #5 Recap

So we’ve been lagging on putting together a recap on the pop-up shops we did late last year and early this year. We were waiting to finish a video that compliments the pics, but we’ll just get that up later. Even though these pop-up shops are a lot of work, we had tons of fun doing these and meeting new peeps in each city. Working with the crews, and unique spaces in each shop was also a great learning experience. … Read More

2nd BBTB “Crowd in Brown”

This past Friday we more than doubled our group size for the 2nd Bring Back The Brown “Crowd in Brown.” We were over 110 brown lovers strong, and this time we sprinkled the Bring Back The Brown posters throughout the stands. Despite this, the Jumbo Tron crew still didn’t show us any love, but we figure they can only ignore our strong support for the team and city for so long. We won the game with a walk-off walk in … Read More

Parties & Nukes — Fall 2010

Fall 2010 brings two new shirts in two colorways each. For this release we went at the jugular of a couple issues we feel very strongly about; the political spectrum in the United States, and the possession of “city destroyer” weapons in nuclear countries. Whether you agree with our take or not, we feel these are issues that need awareness and discourse on a larger stage. Without getting too much into our own political philosophy, our dilemmas are simple to … Read More

Dog Days, & Now Fall

It’s been a pretty eventful summer for us here in San Diego. While it’s been busy and even a little stressful, it’s good stress because we’re stepping up our game, both brand and client side, and still growing despite the depressed economy. Tenacity and humility has and will be the mantra here at PRDTetc™ for a long, long time. It’s now been a little over a year since we formed like Voltron, and we aren’t going away.
