One of the coolest things about our work are the field trips we sometimes have to make for our client projects. On Wednesday, one of our current client projects required us to make a trip down south to beautiful Baja California. The goal was to collect imagery unique to Baja for a brand identity we’re developing for a Mexican seafood restaurant, set to open in Boston later this year. Needless to say, it was a pretty awesome day at work.

First stop was a small, off the beaten path, fisherman’s spot just outside of Rosarito. If you’re lucky enough to dodge past all the dudes literally trying to herd you into their restaurants (they’re obviously not afraid of moving cars), you can pull right up to the beach next to all the boats unloading their fresh catches.

Next up, Puerto Nuevo. We snapped some cool photos here, but if you haven’t heard yet, obviously the coolest thing about this stop was the lobster!

The last stop of the day, before having to face border traffic, was the beach at Las Playas in Tijuana. Really trippy if you haven’t seen this section of the border, you can literally cross back and forth between Mexico and the U.S. through beams that are wide enough for most to fit through. Only thing stopping people from booking it into the States are the BP’s in trucks and four-wheelers just cold-chillin’ on the other side.
