It’s no secret the Padres are literally having a hell of a time this season. We’ve been in last place since I can remember, we’re constantly within grasp of wins only to lose a majority of our games by one or two runs, and our loss to the Red Sox today with a rare pitching meltdown in the 7th was just awful. Yet, we will hold fast and continue throwing events in support of this city until we’re dead or … Read More
This weekend was kicked off on the right foot with the grand opening of the Double Break gallery/art shop. Artists Matt Coors & Louis Schmidt are the captains steering this venture which is currently unlike anything here in San Diego. For those familiar with Giant Robot (LA, SF), Park Life (SF), Subtext (SD), Family (LA), or the Junc Gallery (LA), Double Break is serving up a similar format. However, based on their first exhibit my guess is their programming will … Read More

So we’ve been lagging on putting together a recap on the pop-up shops we did late last year and early this year. We were waiting to finish a video that compliments the pics, but we’ll just get that up later. Even though these pop-up shops are a lot of work, we had tons of fun doing these and meeting new peeps in each city. Working with the crews, and unique spaces in each shop was also a great learning experience. … Read More
This past Friday we more than doubled our group size for the 2nd Bring Back The Brown “Crowd in Brown.” We were over 110 brown lovers strong, and this time we sprinkled the Bring Back The Brown posters throughout the stands. Despite this, the Jumbo Tron crew still didn’t show us any love, but we figure they can only ignore our strong support for the team and city for so long. We won the game with a walk-off walk in … Read More

This past weekend PRDTetc™ visited SF for pleasure and handled a little business as well. It was awesome to see how much the city has gotten behind its home team. *Cough* Padres Fans *Cough* I’m sure the World Series Championship title had nothing to do with it! About 1 in 5 locals were either sporting a SF hat or tee. Pubs and the like had proudly strewn flags, and banners, while some even decked out their windows. The fresh artwork … Read More

During a beautiful Saturday afternoon on February 12 in our beloved San Diego, over 21,000 turned out for the Padres FanFest. Jordan Stark and I, Samurai Jack, attended FanFest to represent Product Etcetera. FanFest is a must for any baseball and Padres fan. It was a treat to see the clubhouse and dugout for the first time. I was especially enthused to have my bare feet touch the outfield grass. The day was a good day to push the Bring … Read More
We did this collaborative T–shirt with our friends, and Sacramento retailer, UnitedState. These shirts released at their store with a PRDTetc™ Pop–Up Shop back in December, but they are now available for purchase in the PRDTetc™ eShop. The shirt is a collaborative twist on Westside Love™, taking on aesthetic elements incorporated into UnitedState’s brand and retail space. 25% of proceeds go to the organization Capitol Roots, which is a non–profit based in Sacramento that sponsors youth urban art programs.
Here’s a vid of Soosh*e performing “Roll High” from his new album SPACE MUSIC at our pop-up shop and shirt release at UnitedState last month. Many thanks to Capitol Roots Studio & Productions for putting this video together! And special thanks to Soosh*e for putting on a sick set. Download the album for free at http://sooshe.bandcamp.com/, and if you dig it throw some love his way with a donation. Respect — PRDTetc™

Fall 2010 brings two new shirts in two colorways each. For this release we went at the jugular of a couple issues we feel very strongly about; the political spectrum in the United States, and the possession of “city destroyer” weapons in nuclear countries. Whether you agree with our take or not, we feel these are issues that need awareness and discourse on a larger stage. Without getting too much into our own political philosophy, our dilemmas are simple to … Read More
As the media, and many “fans,” are voicing their frustration and bailing the bandwagon, we are buckling up and holding steadfast. On this latest project we’ve partnered with linebacker Larry English from our San Diego Chargers to release a Westside Love T-shirt in a Chargers throwback colorway, giving all SD fans the opportunity to show their true colors. Aside from representing the home team, 50% of the proceeds from every shirt will be donated to Larry English’s L.E.A.D. foundation and … Read More

It’s been a pretty eventful summer for us here in San Diego. While it’s been busy and even a little stressful, it’s good stress because we’re stepping up our game, both brand and client side, and still growing despite the depressed economy. Tenacity and humility has and will be the mantra here at PRDTetc™ for a long, long time. It’s now been a little over a year since we formed like Voltron, and we aren’t going away. As far as … Read More
