San Diego — Mission Hills

Sunday while Jordan was making his way back to SD from “Art In The Streets,” my wife and I hit up a little food. Whether you’re from San Diego, or just visiting, if you haven’t explored the food gems in the Mission Hills Business District you’re definitely missing out! There are a lot of must-try spots, literally within a few steps from each other.

El Indio is a hot-spot amongst locals and tourists. Chips are bomb, and try the Mini Morditas, you won’t be disappointed.

Shakespeare Pub is a legit English pub here in SD. Great spot to catch a game of football (soccer) and a beer. PRDTetc™ has had its fair share of meetings here, both productive and not-so productive.

Saffron = crazy good Thai food.

I’m not saying Lucha Libre is the best Mexican taco shop in SD, I’ve got my favorites, but I am saying you should check it out just for the decor. The spot makes you feel like you stepped into a scene from Nacho Libre. Give the Surf and Turf burrito a shot, it’s pretty good.

Blue Water is where we decided to grub. A friend of PRDTetc™ recommended we try their oysters, and we were not disappointed. Food is great, prices definitely reasonable, and we will be hitting it up again. Snapped some photos of our food below. Enjoy!
