The hats have been received and are now ready to ship out to New York City’s own, The Reed Space, within the next day or two.
The project has been in the works for over 8 months. After designing the hat, we received our prototype in early January with the goal of pitching an exclusive release of the hat at the Reed Space, to Mr. Jeff Staple. By mid-January we had prepared and shipped a special presentation of the project to NYC, and from there we sat and waited until we heard word from anybody associated with the Reed Space. It was all crickets for a couple of weeks, but we kept following up and patiently waited until Jeff got back from Europe. Finally, we heard the good word from Nico, and the project has been in coordination and production ever since. So with that in mind, we present TwentyFour/Seven™ — The Team That Never Sleeps, crafted exclusively for The Reed Space.
The TwentyFour/Seven™ — Team That Never Sleeps box set is a numbered edition of 100 and will retail at $50.00. Set includes a numbered hat, a screen printed numbered box, foil letterpressed card describing the project, a vinyl sticker, and screen printed tissue paper. Last week we launched our first line of apparel at 5&A Dime here in our hometown of San Diego and we have to say that we couldn’t have wished for a better launch. The enthusiasm, big smiles, and generous turn-out will make it unforgettable for us. Not enough thanks can go out to our friends, family, and new friends.
Special hollar goes out to our fùtbol and high school buddy Kamal Delchad for doing an amazing job in shooting the event, the Nasty Kemical Crew for also documenting the event, blogging it, and for being from National City (home of John Baldessari). Another big hug and sloppy kiss to our amazing friends and loved ones for helping transport, fold A LOT of shirts, and set-up the event. Big shout out to Adam “Ace on Base” Moyer from the infamously famous Knockaround, and last but most certainly not least, Jay, Darcie and the friendly staff at 5&A Dime for making the event seamless, letting us use their wicked store, and showing up early and late for set-up and take-down. Those of you who haven’t been there, get your ass over there, buy some swag and tell them we sent you. San Diego don’t sleep!!!

Howdy, just dropping in real quick to preview our first fitted hats that we’ll be showing at our launch party on June, 3rd at 5&A Dime, in our lovely, south-left city of San Diego. They will be available to purchase sometime in mid-to-late June but you can sign up to reserve one at the show. We’ll have two colorways available right off the bat with a couple more on deck— those of which you won’t see unless you come to our opening and say hi!
If you come to the show, you’ll also see some pieces we’ll be releasing exclusively at The Reed Space, in the LES, in the NYC in July! Those pieces are looking just as clean, especially if you’re a Yankee fan. You’ll also get to see some snap-back hats we made exclusively for 5&A Dime, along with our 22-style tee release. Run it!
